The tidal wave

that started forming in her years ago

was now in sight.

She could feel its currents

catching up with her.

And instead of fear

or trying to solve the riddle of its landing,

she decided to ride this wave,

trusting that the shores on which she would land

would bring more peace

than containing this wave inside her ever could.
